Prečo sa venujete stredoveku?
Naša skupina sa venuje a stvárňuje ranostredovekú kniežaciu družinu. Konkrétne družinu nitrianskeho kniežaťa Pribinu. Ako skupina máme centrum v Nitre, čiže výber raného stredoveku, kedy naše mesto malo najvýznamnejšie obdobie, bol pre nás celkom jasný.
Ako ste sa dali dokopy?
Dobový spolok Satyros vznikol roku pána 2011 a tak ako sa na správnu šermiarsku skupinu patrí, delením sme sa oddelili, od pôvodnej skupiny Aldaron.
Čomu sa venujete v civilnom živote?
Sme relatívne veľká historická skupina čiže v našich radoch nájdete kohokoľvek, od študenta archeológie až po obchodníka s ropnými robotmi.
Čo vás priťahuje, inšpiruje na stredoveku?
To bude u každého iné, no určite nás všetkých v skupine spája láska (v niektorých prípadoch iba mierne nadšenie) k histórii. A čo sa týka našich inšpirácií zo stredoveku, tie sa nesú v duchu Monthy Pythonov, z ktorých sa nám darí ťažiť (nielen v našich vystúpeniach) čo najviac absurdity a humoru.
Čo podľa vás by mala dnešná spoločnosť prevziať od našich stredovekých predkov?
Schopnosť fungovať na hocijakom teréne bez podrážok na topánkach. Rovnako ako naši predkovia, aj u nás v skupine si myslíme, že moderná spoločnosť si vôbec neváži podrážky na našich topánkach.
